Let’s make something amazing together.

I love working on commissions — it is incredibly satisfying to give someone a custom piece to hang forever in their home, or give as a gift to a loved one. Together, we can create something you will love and cherish. Whether you are interested in a custom portrait, landscape or abstract piece, please feel free to reach out to me via email with any inquiries or ideas!

“Working with Hannah was a pleasure, with an eye for detail and exceptional client service skills, everything about the process was smooth and simple. As last minute as the commission was, she kept me updated through the whole process, and shipped it to me with time to spare. The portraits were phenomenal, and turned out better than expected!”

About my process:

For digital illustrated portraits, you will send me a photo you love which I can work from as a reference, and we will talk about style, color schemes, size, and any specific details you would like emphasized or de-emphasized, etc. I generally prefer to do portraits in either a realistic “oil painting” style or a colorful representational style (both pictured), but am open to other ideas. The final price of the piece will reflect the content as well as the size, printing and framing. I usually prefer to work with Hope & Feathers in Amherst, MA, who use archival ink in their printing process (guaranteed to last up to 200 years). There is the option to print onto gallery-wrapped canvas (ready to hang), or quality paper (gloss, matte or luster).

We will also discuss any relevant timeline and/or deadlines surrounding the project. Please keep in mind that the printing and framing process usually lasts between 2-3 weeks and allowing an additional week for shipping. I will then ask for a deposit of 25% of the total price we come to an agreement upon.

From there, I will start creating a first draft. I always check in with my client when I am partially through this stage, to make sure they are happy with the result so far. Once the first draft is complete, I will send it to you and we can discuss any changes you would like to be made. I include 2 rounds of revisions for free to make sure the client is satisfied with the final result.

At this point, I will send you can invoice for the remaining portion of payment. Once received, I will send the digital files to the printing and framing shop for the final stage. Once I receive the physical artwork, I will ship it to you insured via USPS or FedEx.

-Pricing will depend on content, size, printing and framing-

“We LOVE this painting!!! Hannah perfectly captured our animal/human family. I gave this painting to my husband for our 2nd wedding anniversary and it’s a gift for myself too, to be honest! Hannah is a pleasure to work with and so incredibly talented. Thanks Hannah!”
